Executive Director – David Whiteley
David has been with the Food Project since 2006 and was the first employee. He works part-time as the Executive Director of the Food Project and also serves part-time as the pastor of the Jemez Springs Community Presbyterian Church. Under his leadership, the pantry has grown by 50% of people served and food distributed and 75% in funds raised. He has been instrumental in developing important partnerships with the Storehouse, local churches, and community organizations. David is passionate about feeding our hungry brothers and sisters and prays for that day when food pantries are no longer needed.
Volunteer/Database Coordinator – Rocio Gonzales
Rocio has been with the Food Project since January 2010. On a part-time basis she manages our volunteers, client database and the daily distribution operations. Before joining us, she was the fastest data entry volunteer at the Storehouse. She also had work experience in the service and senior care sectors.
Food Service Coordinator – Shirley Montoya
Shirley first came to the Food Project as a client. Then she worked as a volunteer. Now she manages our food supply. Her part-time position focuses on ordering food and working with volunteers to receive deliveries, restock the shelves and repack food.
